Just for fun.

Once upon upon a time a long time ago on a hot summer night a baby girl was born, probably several were born along with some baby boys.   A part of life, baby's being born.   Well I got a bit curious as to what happened on the date of my birth throughout history so I looked it up.

Some things that happened on that day Idaho the last of the 50 states to be explored by whites, is admitted to the union it became the 43rd state.  Check it out here. 

The battle of Gettysburg ends 1863, Washington takes command of Continental army 1775,  read about this an other stuff on this site. 

City of Quebec was founded by Samuel de Champloin in 1608, and other interesting facts right here.

The New York Times cover was of the Statue of Liberty.

Herb Thomas won the nascar that day and the Pirates beat the Giants 6-4 on that day.
